Master of Management Experience

 

 

 

UC Merced's Master of Management (MM) Professional Degree is an immersive twelve-month program that complements your undergraduate degree with a competitive set of practical, project-based work and management skills for addressing the cross-functional challenges faced by professionals in for-profit and non-profit enterprises and public organizations.

Experience the Master of Management program by joining special open class sessions. Each session may include a specific activity or a guest lecturer from industry leaders across a variety of fields. All students are welcome to attend and participate in this experience program regardless of your class standing or undergraduate studies. Come get a feel for what the MM program has to offer you and interact with program faculty, current masters students, and industry leaders.

Past Experience Session

Farm to Table: A Master of Management Project

Learn what a project in the Master of Management program entails by participating in this session as the class welcomes visitors from two parts of campus, Campus Dining and the campus Smart Farm, to present a campus case study and project to the class. 

 

Introducing Operations Management: Friday Night at the ER

In this class, we introduce operations management through a simulation experience designed to resemble any organization where the parts must work together to achieve system goals. It's a fun way to gain experience with operations management concepts such process & workflow, bottlenecks, scheduling, and inventory management. No experience needed (indeed, preferred).

Your Story Matters: Using Storytelling in the Interview Process to Land the Job, Guest Speaker Diana Matamoros
